Did you know that some primates and early humans had the sense to be kind to one another, even after knockdown, drag-out fights? Yup. When all was said and done, they engaged in behaviors like excessive grooming or bringing gifts to their so-called enemies. All this was done to try to ensure that bad things didn’t keep happening, and to increase the chance of sustaining peace (we add, “for as long as possible”). Prosocial behavior is designed to keep the peace.
JuJuBee exists to promote prosocial skills, education and learning experiences. Why prosocial skills? Because they help us with: resovling conflict; promoting peace and promoting states of balance and wellbeing. But, what is it to be prosocial?
