Bio
John has over 30 years experience leading schools in inner-city Lewisham & Greenwich, London UK. Based primarily in one school, he was seconded to other schools to support them in times of difficulty.
His passion as a headteacher has always been in developing new ‘Values-led’, motivated leaders and he nurtured many of his colleagues to go on and lead other schools & organisations.
He was described by the inspection service, OFSTED, as ‘INSPIRATIONAL’ and his leadership as ‘OUTSTANDING.’ He has spoken about his Values-led work in Parliament and this work was cited in a book by Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan and in a range of other publications (SSAT; Church of England; Headteacher Update).
John now coaches aspiring leaders, who want the tools to lead and motivate others. He also works with teams that want to collaborate more effectively, take the drama out of their communication and enhance each other’s well-being.
